Each year, the Steel Dragons create a leadership team in order to keep the team organized and make sure all meetings run as smoothly as possible.
The team splits into sub-teams (Design, Build, Code, and Competition) to ensure that we are as productive as possible. The team captain is appointed from among these positions. This year, we are also appointing a fundraising captain to oversee the social media, outreach, and fundraising of the team.
We are proud to announce the captains of the 2019-20 season of the Steel Dragons!
This will be Aaron's 4th year on the team as he enters his senior year. He was appointed programming captain in his sophomore and junior year, serving concurrently as the team captain in his junior year. He now continues as the team captain for his final year.
This will be Alex's 3rd year on the team as he enters his junior year. He has been a devoted build-team member since he joined the team in 2016. He will serve as build captain for the upcoming season.
This will be Nathan's 2nd year on the team as he enters his sophomore year. He helped the team with design and overall strategy in the 2018-19 season. He will take the role of design captain for the upcoming season.
Matias Badino/Peter Jacobs
This will be Matias's and Peter's 2nd year on the team as they enter their junior and senior years, respectively. They both helped with all aspects of the competition and made the trip run very smoothly. They will serve as the competition captains for the upcoming season.
This will be Ben's 2nd year on the team as he enters his sophomore year. Ben has been a very devoted member of the team, staying late at many meetings and providing ideas for designing and programming. He will serve as the fundraising captain for the upcoming season.
